Winter 2016 Blissful Lives (aka Game of Thrones gossip)

darryl rhyl photoHi everyone,

We’ve incorporated a little Game of Thrones into our newsletter this season! We’d love to know what you think. You never know, you may inspire us to do other themes for other newsletters! It’s the biggest television phenomenon ever so we’ve embraced that this season to curl up on the couch and catch up on the last five seasons. It’s halfway through the season and halfway through the year so this seemed a fitting time to add some fantasy to our newsletter.

With this colder weather now, I’m all cutched up in front of the TV, watching everything. While trying to explain the word ‘cutch’ my geekGOBLIN and I discovered these words too: eeeemmooo and cwtch – these are Welsh words and with my ancestry I felt I needed to share. Isn’t English wonderful, how it steals words from different languages to create whole new words and meanings? I’m proud of my ancestry but am glad I don’t spend winters over there anymore!

Tom is turning 25 on 25 June. Can’t believe how old I am. I’m proud of him and how independent he’s become. I threw a conniption fit earlier this year when he bought the car of his dreams. He’s working with his dad right now which is great for their bonding. I’m taking my Thomas and both of my brothers to the Pink Floyd experience as a birthday gift to all of them. The experience sold out within hours as it’s been travelling the world to record crowds. It’s supposed to be amazing with fabulous sound and lighting.

The water is so calm, looks like you could walk to Moreton Island. I don’t want to be shark bait, and I’m fine on top of the water but ugh if I fall in! Despite this, I’m thinking of buying a paddle board. It would be magnificent to be atop of that crystal clear water while gently exercising every muscle in your body; even your feet get a gentle workout. The other advantage of living near the water is I have added sun-gazing to my daily regime, which balances hormones by increasing serotonin levels in the body. Simply watch the sunrise through closed eyes for 5 minutes each day. It’s certainly helping to make me feel fabulous and younger.

Ok, so don’t tell anyone, this is just between you and me, but I’m dating a younger man and I’m becoming really concerned about how I look. I know I look fabulous for my age, but seriously, when you start realising you’re the eldest in the room, you look at your skin in a different light. So I’m going to do something really quick smart – have a six layer peel as soon as possible (to remove the less desirable skin and rebuild a nice new bouncy younger skin) followed by a series of weekly muscle banding to give my skin a super lift (back to where it belongs). I’m expecting to lose 10 years at the end of this. If you would like to join me and lose 10 years (winter is the time to make this happen), do the six layer peel with me, you will need to invest 28 days (3 in down time) and $1550 – a whopping saving of $800 (payment plans available)! Plus you also receive the basic products you need for your take home package, valued at an additional $465! So join me on the quest for more beautiful, younger-looking skin!

This week we say goodbye to Samantha who is going on 6 month Maternity leave. We are so excited to tell you a little girl called Violet is on her way. To fill in some of the gaps our old mate Dale is filling Samantha’s shoes. We have launched a new Junior Training program to bring through blissfully trained therapists. So we need lots of bodies for Sarah, Rickita and Abbey to work on. If you would like to help out and be a model for their treatments you can save 50%. Treatments include manicure, pedicure, gel nails, waxing; tinting and facials are soon to come. Book in quick because they have limited spaces each day.

My poor Bliss mobile is getting a bit old so I think it’s time I looked for a new car. Does anybody have any suggestions on the perfect car to match my personality and business? I will certainly be wrapping it again as the advertising brings me a lot of business.

So I’m going to leave you with a quote, “Yesterday I was clever so I wanted to change the world, today I am wise so I am changing myself”. So rug up against the cold. Come in and have a winter warm facial. Thank you for being a wonderful Body Bliss client.

Bliss
